The dive

We leave the shop dock at 8 AM and run 35 minutes out to Molasses Reef. The first dive follows the coral spurs and sand grooves at 30 to 40 feet with a guide out front.

After an hour on the sun deck we move to French Reef, where the ledges and swim-throughs hide nurse sharks and lobster. It is the trip we send every newly certified diver on first.
